DONE ONCE - STOP REPEATING MYSELF! - HOW?
I Forget I've Done It so I do it again
I was overwhelmed and scared in divorce process because STBX (Soon To Be Ex) wants the figures... Her Lawyer has introduced The Scott Schedule (TSS). She likes the figures - I like the Big Rocks. Anyway TSS values everything three and half years ago; Separation Date, and you split everything in half. Trouble is my shares crashed 87% since then and if that happens I am wiped out!
So how to organise the files to deal with this and present THE FIGURES! How to slow my mind down to cope and stop the shaking? How to overcome The Avoidance.
I will be preparing figures that she will then evaluate - so I am in her power and I am on the back foot. She is great at the linear admin... You may gather that I am not. She used to do it all. Left. Now I'm having to do it all. But I'm the artist.. darling!!!
This conversation will reference Dave Allens GTD - Getting Things Done. A filing system I have embodied for years. It will explore small files - lots of them rather than few files with layers below... It will explore sub pages in a clean way. It will explore a visual format that reminds me what I've done when I come back to it. It will embody LOCKED areas!
I am seeing a way to order this and remind myself, when I go back, what I have done and to - importantly - be able to LOCK OFF a DONE! To complete it, and to be reminded I have COMPLETED IT!!! That will give me breakthroughs everywhere....
