So sung Tom (Jones) et al. It's - 20 C outside. Someone is out there in their tent and sleeping bag not too far away. Someone can't afford to have the heating turned up. Someone hasn't enough to eat and someone faces war, facing the barrel of a gun.  And thi si the iPad view outside my front door.

STOP MOANING

And I have nothing to moan about. Apart from what I have failed to do and where I find myself as a result! 

And yet, I too feel up against it this Christmas. But it would all look fine on the surface if you met me. How we keep up appearances. And how do I make that count here at LID OFF THE BOX?

CHRISTIANE'S MEDIA

I created CHRISTIANE'S MEDIA page here today. Twelve hours. It's addictive to go through our huge photo library and treat the pictures. I was searching for REFLECTIONS in pictures. Christiane is a brilliant photographer and catches reflections. I inverted a coule of the shots, not sure that met with approval but.. I like the idea of changing perspective.

HALF EMPTY OR HALF FULL?

Half full or half empty. Half empty... 'Woe is me, failed etc etc...'

Half full. Living in hope, the key for me. And holding things lightly. (A challenge.)

Golly I am all over this Bandzoogle (the website this is being built on) eco system and getting a feel for how to structure all I've planned into it. If you read, some of it may appear clunky and I'm writing and honing as I go.
